Jeffrey Kimberly

Jeff is a co-founder and general partner at BaseCamp Equity. Jeff works to originate and diligence deals, source and develop relationships with financing partners and manage investments.

Jeff currently serves as the Board of Directors of Superior Roofing, BaseCamp Equity’s partnership with a Colorado based commercial roofing company. Jeff also serves on the Board of Directors of Faulkner Island Holdings, BaseCamp Equity’s holding company that provides automotive services in the Northeast. Jeff previously served as a Director on the Board of Palladium Industries, a niche manufacturer of eye safety products. 

Prior to co-founding BaseCamp Equity, Jeff worked as a Senior Vice President at Antares Capital.  Jeff spent over 10 years at GE Capital’s financial sponsors group, which was re-branded to Antares Capital following its sale to CPPIB in 2015.  Jeff underwrote and syndicated leveraged transactions for the business’s private equity clients.  During his tenure, Jeff closed over 100 transactions representing total transaction value of over $20 billion, with a meaningful portion of his transaction activity focused on the technology, software, business services and healthcare sectors.   

Jeff earned his BA from Syracuse University and is a CFA Charterholder.  Jeff lives in Fairfield, CT with his wife and four children.  In his free time, Jeff enjoys spending time with his family, skiing, golfing and playing paddle tennis.
